Stoves 550DF 550mm wide Mini Range Cooker comes under the Flavour Series, that is been designed by Stoves to give an extra spice to your kitchen. It comes in 4 different vibrant colours and this mini range does a lot to add up the style of the kitchen. The various colours available are Jalapeno, Papaya, Aubergine, Sushi. Defining the size could note that it is 550 mm wide and takes comparatively less space to fit in its freestanding construction. This model functions with the dual fuel system the natural gas for the hob functions and the electric power for the oven functions.

Controls:

Present in this model are the buttons and the rotary controls that allow the user to set the different functions of the hob and the ovens separately. Also been present are the LED timer with the soft touch 3 buttons that displays the selected programmes and the timer. The clock functions and the minute minder make it all the more convenient.

Hob and its functions:

This 550DF Freestanding Dual Fuel Range Cooker comes with the 4 gas burners including the wok burner. It is be4en designed with the one piece hot plate. The lid of the hob is made of cast lid which has chrome handle. It does come with the cast iron pan support. Based on the cooking nature of the pans the burner size can be opted. Since being a one piece hob it gives a neat finish and the perfect look to suit the modern kitchens.

Oven and its Functions:

Present in this appliance are 2 ovens and the lower space belongs to the main oven, while the smaller one is the top oven. Both these oven are designed with the drop down doors and with the long horizontal handles.

• Top oven – In this case it offers conventional type of cooking and functions with the electric power. It comes with the capacity slightly less than the main oven. The door of this space is opaque while it does not have an interior light. The grill functions are also available in this space.
• Main oven – This is the one located in the bottom with the glass door that is translucent. With the presence of the interior light the cooking process can be monitored from outside. It consists of 2 shelves and a baking tray to simplify the work. Different natured food stuffs can be cooked here without any transfer of flavour, aroma or colour from one to the other.
