GR6CV – Gourmet 60cm Heritage Style Mini Range Electric Cooker by Leisure

Rather, Leisure GR6CV Mini Range Cooker is an interesting innovation of the brand ‘Leisure’ who innovates wide range of products in the appliance segment. Entitled to be one of the best selling models it is been known to belong to the waist level, double oven type.

Product design and structure: This Electric Range Cooker model is been attired with the black colour finish and has a dimension of 900 x 600 x 600 mm. Leisure GR6CV Electric Range Cooker comes with the metal backsplash and is been known to be operated with the electric power. It comes with 2-oven space whose handles are made of chrome.

Control panel: Available in this appliance is the five button programmable LED timer that goes for the main oven along with the minute minder. The control knobs present here is also been made of chrome. It is definitely user friendly making it easy for the user to understand and set the programmes easily. Available in the control panel is the clock and the programmable main oven functions.

Hob and Ovens:

Hob: This model is been embedded with the ceramic hob that consists of 4 rapidlite cooking zone and includes the dual zone. The hob power of the front left side is 1.7 kw, the front right side it is 1.5 kw, the rear left side has 1.2 kw and the rear right side it is 2.0 kw.

Top oven: The ovens present are one over the other. The top oven is made of opaque metal door with the drop down horizontal handle. It also has a grill combined in the top oven with the grill power of 2.0kw. The grill pan with the rack and handle is been available. The top oven belongs to the conventional type with the capacity of 28 litres in the 1.0 cu.ft space. In case of the oven, the power is 1.8 kw. The energy rating of this space is ‘A’. It consists of a single shelf and is been noted that does not have interior light.

Main oven: The so-called main cavity is the one found at the bottom. It belongs to the fan type of oven. The volume of this space is 60 litres in 2.1 cu.ft. It consumes the power of 1.8 kw and the energy rating is grade ‘A’. The door is been made of metal with the glass finish hence it is transparent and acts as the viewing window. The interiors is also been illuminated with the interior light. It consists of 2 shelves along with the baking tray with the 5 shelf positions making it possible to accommodate even larger sized bowls.

Other conveniences:

• This model is been designed with the full metal splash back that is rather attractive and highly functional. It protects the background from those unexpected splashes during the cooking process.
• Adjustable feet are a noteworthy feature and both the front and the rear feet are adjustable. Installing in any floor conditions is possible.
• Present in this model are the rear rollers that supports easy shifting of places.
• The weight of this product is 67 kg when unpacked.

Verdict: The manufacturer ‘Leisure’ has made it possible to offer a grade ‘A’ rated Leisure GR6CV Black Colour Range Cooker in terms of the functionality and energy efficiency of both the ovens. However, this works on the single fuel and the auto shut off feature are not available.
