Indesit KD3E1 is an all electric range cooker which is reliable and very efficient. The white coloured freestanding range cooker comes complete with a single oven but has double cavity. An all electric oven is more faster to cook. The hob is of flat solid plates which can heat easily. This needs an average power supply of 30 amps.

There is a variable grill in the top cavity which allows cooking the oven and the grill at the same time. They are also generally cheaper.

Design:

Indesit KD3E1Freestanding Electric Cookers comes in a stylish and cool white with an easy to clean oven interior. The enamel finish helps to clean off the spills and splashes in a flash. The hob controls are rotary dial and gives a ultra professional finish to the range cooker.

As it is a freestanding range cooker, it is also height adjustable. This can fit in easily to anyone’s cooking needs and accommodation. The electric ignition is automatic and cannot be used when you don’t have a power supply. Also there is not LPG kit available to use in case of emergency need.

Indesit KD3E1 White Electric Cooker requires a professional electrician since hard wiring is a must for its installation and use. This freestanding electric range cooker has 5 different shelf positions for flexible cooking and a grill pan to roast joints.

Oven Specifics:

Single oven with double cavity, which has a variable grill in the top. The main oven has a capacity of 58 litres and the functions are static. There is no convectional cooking available. The energy class is rated as B and it does not have any self cleaning to it. The secondary capacity is 28 litres and is used for grilling.

IN GENERAL

PROS

In an electric oven you can find quite a number of cooking programs and the grill is very economical. The solid heating plates are always easy to clean. There is both the top and bottom element for even heating.

CONS

If there is no fan assisted ovens then the food should be pre-heated before cooking and the grill is rather slow in heating. The heating plates are also slow to heat if they are cheaper solid ones and less controllable then gas for adjustments in temperature.

SUGGESTIONS

The Indesit KD3E150cm electric cooker could improvise itself with the addition of cooling fan and a programmable timer. For maintenance and cleaning, the surface could be coated with scratch resistant.
