The Dimensions:

Dynamic and aristocratic in the colour of anthracite, Belling Country Classic 100E Dual Fuel Range Cooker easily catches the eye. It reflects the style of yesteryears traditional stove. With a dimension of 900 millimetres in height, 996 in width and 600 in depth and a weight of 89 kilograms this stove stands sturdy and firm. The entire unit is coated with easy clean enamel. This makes it low on maintenance. The cleaning is trouble free and straight forward with just a wipe with some hot soapy water.

The unit comprises of a gas hob followed by the control panel. The lower compartment comprises of a grill and two ovens. The LED displayed clock and the minute minder keeps track of the time required according to each recipe and food. It aids in reminding the user when the task is complete.

The Gas Hob:

This gas hob is fully ceramic in nature. It is a picture of sleek and stylish stove. There are 5 zones including the warming zone. Apart from that, there are 2 burners with a power of 1.2 kilowatt, and one burner each with 1.8, 0.7 and 2.2 kilowatt. There are no cast iron pan supports or a wok burner. The utensils have to be flat bottomed for proper use of the hob. Automatic ignition too is not provided.

The Electric Grill:

Placed in the top left corner of the cooker range with a capacity of 31 litres, this electric grill is equipped with a power of 1.8 kilowatts. There is one shelf that can be placed in two different positions. The cavity is ideal for browning food or for creating a crisp exterior. There is no viewing window but the door has a large ergonomically designed handle for easy use. The door is ‘drop down’ in style allowing for easy movement of the dishes.

Conventional Oven:

This is the most useful and much used utility in most of the kitchens. In this cooker range, it is situated in the bottom left corner right under the grill. It can hold a capacity of 52 litres making it very sufficient to handle the needs of a family. The power output is 2.0 kilowatt and has been rated as ‘A’ in the energy efficiency. The door has a viewing window and is drop down in style. The large handle is designed for comfort and safety. There are 2 shelves with 5 different positions that enable batch cooking and help vary the heat intensity. In here, one can bake cookies, cakes and tarts. The heat in this cavity is very high and intense.

Fanned Oven:

Found in the top left cavity of the cooker range, the fanned oven comes with a capacity of 54 litres. The main difference with the conventional and fanned oven is the presence of the fan. This helps the circulation of hot air which in turn is useful for uniformed cooking. This is good for slow roasting of meat and poultry. This oven is perfect for defrosting large amounts of food too. Defrosting in this manner ensures that the food remains hygienic and bacteria free. This too has an energy rating of ‘A’. The viewing window is present allowing the user to see the cooking process inside the oven. An internal light too is provided for easy viewing. Two shelves with 5 positions are provided for more flexibility.

Belling Country Classic 100E Anthracite Range Cooker has a storage shelf that keeps accessories such as grill pan, trivet etc out of the way and yet easily accessible. This cavity is found right under the fanned oven compartment. Accessories such as trivet, handle and grill pan are provided.
