The Basics:

Baumatic PPC1220SS Pythagora 100cm Range Cooker attires in stainless steel finish and take the dimension of 880-900 x 998 x 600 mm which corresponds to the height, width and the depth of the appliance. It consists of a hob with 5 burners and 2 oven cavities along with the storage compartment. Made as a freestanding appliance it functions with the dual fuel system. Winning the grade ‘B’ energy efficiency it functions to the comfort of the user.

Control panel:

The fascia of the model consists of the control panel in a full stretch that includes few rotary control knobs and a LED display. The thermostat control knob of the main oven allows to set the temperature of the oven it is been chosen by the turn or the knob and it is mechanical. Also available is the oven function selector knob for the main oven that selects with the manual turn and it also turns on the oven light. In case of the secondary oven functions both the oven function and the thermostat control knob are the same in a single knob. On selection it also turns the oven light automatically. Further, the LED display and the settings are available for setting up various functions like the minute minder, duration, end cook, manual operation, less and add. The symbol for the auto function, minute minder and the manual operation are displayed in the screen.

Hob and its functions:

Fueled up with the natural gas is the hob that consists of 5 burners. The single Triple Crown burner can handle the pan size of 240mm to 280mm in diameter and it functions with the power of 3.60 kw. The rapid burner with the power of 3.00 kw and another single auxiliary burner of 1.00 kw is available. There are 2 semi-rapid burners with the power of 1.75 kw. As the control system of these burners, present in the fascia are the control knobs for each of the hobs. The rotation of the knob can be brought to set the gas off when pointed to the black circle, large flame for the maximum setting and the small flame for the minimum setting.

Features and functions of the oven:

• Oven light – Present in Baumatic PPC1220SS Pythagora Stainless Steel Range Cooker is the separate light controls that can be switched on even when the functioning does not take place.
• Defrost mode – Based on the nature of the food and the quantity the fan runs to activate the defrosting of the frozen food stuffs.
• Conventional oven – It functions with the top and lower elements in a traditional cooking style. It suits best for roasting and baking.
• Fan oven – This method is an economical cooking mode, in which heat is distributed evenly to offer even cooking.
• Grill functions – The half grill and full grill are available, in combination with the fan and the lower element are the functions available. These are suited to cook almost all types of foods.
• Doors – The door of the main oven is triple glazed and has viewing window. While the door of the secondary oven is double glazed and both the doors are removable for maintenance. The handles are separate that runs horizontally as the doors are opened as the drop down type.
• Automatic ignition – The burners can be lit up automatically with the twist of the knob. It also comes with the safety device as when it senses the flame been put off accidentally it automatically stops the flow of the gas.

Accessories:

Provided by the manufacturer are the following accessories that comes along with the purchase of this model. They are 2 enamelled baking trays, 3 safety shelves, trivet, removable side racks, LPG conversion jets and wok stand. As an optional and with extra cost it offers pizza stone and double sided griddle plate.
